When did you realize you wanted to be a part of the acting industry?
I think I was about 6-7 years old when I realized I wanted to be an actor.
What changes did you see in your career after getting famous with Sacred Games?
Well, I noticed that everyone started to take me seriously in the acting industry, and people finally believed that I have good acting skills.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is bad service. Bad service makes me irritated and sad.
What is the one habit that you want to break?
That one habit that I want to break is overthinking. Sometimes, I overthink a lot, and that is something I want to stop doing.
What is your biggest fear?
My biggest fear is losing my loved ones – my family members, my friends, and the ones I love.
What is the deal breaker for you in a relationship?
The deal-breaker for me in a relationship is cheating! In a relationship, it is important that your partner always has your back and vice versa.
It is common for people to badmouth others. There is always a possibility that someone may badmouth about you or your partner. But, no matter what people may say about you, your partner should be able to stand by your side.
If at any point in time, you notice that your partner doesn’t seem to have your back, then you should dump him.
What is your guilty indulgence?
Even though I am not much of a chocolate person, I love Tiramisu and Persian sweets.
What is the diet plan that has helped you stay in shape?
I don’t really follow any diet plan. However, I have been following a vegetarian diet for the last three years now.
Consuming a vegetarian diet has helped me a lot to stay in shape, I guess. Along with it, I play a few sports to maintain myself.
Do you consume any weight loss drink like green tea?
I do drink green tea, but I don’t believe green tea is a weight loss drink. Green tea does have a lot of health benefits. Other than green tea, I don’t consume any weight loss drinks.
What is your current workout plan since going to the gym is not an option now? How often do you work out?
My alternative workout plan involves skating & riding a bicycle. Apart from this, I work out outside in my garden with my trainer over zoom.
When do you feel the laziest?
I feel the laziest when I don’t have a deadline. Without a deadline, I keep pushing my work for a later period. So, I always need a deadline.
What is the skincare hack that you use after a long day at work?
There is no skincare hack per se. All I do is remove my makeup properly after work. Using a toner and a super good quality moisturizer is also a must to keep your skin healthy. Another product that does wonders for the skin is a hydrating face mask.
You have flawless glowing skin. We would love to know about your skincare routine, especially when you have to wear makeup frequently.
I try to drink a lot of water as it keeps my skin healthy in general along with my skincare routine. That is all I do, and it really helps me a lot.
Another thing that I do to keep my skin healthy is putting black tea bags under my eyes. It does wonders for my skin.

There are actually two movies that always make me emotional – Kal Ho Na Ho and The Notebook.
What is the weirdest compliment that you have ever received?
I get a lot of weird compliments, but one of them is that my hair smells really good.
Any TV Show that you have recently binge-watched?
Don’t Fuck with The Cats and Prison Break.
What is the one technology shown in the sci-fi genre that you wish to use now?
One technology that I wish to use is accessing the internet with your mind. I don’t know if this will be ever possible, but this tech would be cool, and I would definitely want to try something like this.
I also want to add one more thing, a tech from the sci-fi genre that I wouldn’t want to use – the one that is shown in the Netflix series Black mirror, where you can record your memories and go through it later. Although, it will be great to see the good times in life again, seeing the bad memories again is something that I would never want.
What message would you like to share with the readers of The Voice of Woman?
I have always stood for the empowerment of women. I am glad that there are platforms like these that help the Voice of Women to be heard. I have been through the toughest times in life, and I made it out just fine all by myself. One important thing that I want every woman to know is that you do have the strength in you to face the difficult times in life.
Sometimes, we think that we cannot go through tough situations in life without the help of men. The truth is, we can!
We do love the men who are in our lives and hope they always stay around us. But it is important to realize that ladies, we are always enough for ourselves!
