Here are some of the reasons that will help me support my conclusion of ‘almond milk; healthy for you:
1. Low in Calories
Almond milk is much lesser in calorie content than dairy milk. This may be confusing because almonds are considered high in calories and fat. However, because of the way almond milk is made only a few portions of the almond are present in the final product. They are a good source of food for those who are desiring to cut calories and lose weight.
2. Low in Sugar
Homemade almond milk or unsweetened almond milk contains very little carbohydrates in them. They are the best sugar intake reduction remedy for diabetic people. Also, all those who update their bio as health-conscious freaks should be using this nutty milk to stay fit and fine.
Note: if you buy it from any store, be sure to check the ingredients, because sweetened almond milk contains added sugar which will act as a sugar intake increment rather than decrements.
3. High in Vitamin E
You may spend pennies on buying vitamin E capsules and rubbing them all over your face, so what do you think will the result be if you consume something rich in vitamin E? Well, I love this ingredient and so I’m a regular customer of almond milk. For information, you should know that vitamin E benefits your brain health which improves your mental performance. It also acts as a demotivate of Alzheimer’s disease.
4. Enriched with a Good Amount of Calcium
You may be aware that milk and other dairy products contain a huge amount of calcium in them. Only a single cup of milk provides 28% of your overall calcium intake, contrary to this, one cup of almond milk provides just 7% of the calcium. To cover this up, the manufacturers of almond milk add a certain level of calcium so the consumers of almond milk do not lose such an important protein.
5. Very Easy to Add to Your Diet
Dairy milk can be replaced with it in almost every way. Some of how you can consume nutty milk are:
- Consuming as a refreshing and nutrition providing drink
